Available Positions

Regional heavy/highway and concrete paving contractor seeks experienced concrete paving foreman to work on major airfield and highway construction projects. This position will be responsible for managing slipform and fixed form paving operations and constructing finished pavements meeting stringent FAA, USACE and various state DOT specifications.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Inspect condition of grade, forms, and steel placement for compliance with specifications prior to concrete placements.
  • Perform or assist with set up of slipform paving equipment.
  • Coordinate slipform paving operations using GOMACO paving equipment using stringless technology.
  • Coordinate and implement fixed form paving operations.
  • Monitor all placement, finishing, and curing operations for specification compliance.
  • Direct and communicate with crew members and project managers to ensure high quality pavements.
  • Perform and report time and cost coding for all supervised/managed employees.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience performing job duties described above.
  • Ability to gain clearance in restricted/high security zones. (Airport AOA, Military Bases, etc.)
Regional heavy/highway and concrete paving contractor seeks experienced project engineer to work on major airfield and highway construction projects. This position will primarily be responsible for daily progress measurements, quantity and materials tracking, construction layout, subcontractor management, and assisting project management.

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily project quantity measurements/verification and progress tracking.
  • Perform daily project raw materials tracking.
  • Perform material ticket and invoice checks/verifications.
  • Support project management staff as needed.
  • Coordinate Subcontractors’ work on primed projects.
  • Perform estimate take-offs and assist project estimating staff in preparation of bids.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience performing job duties described above.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer Desired.
  • 3D Machine Control Experience with Leica, TopCon, or similar.
  • Project Estimating and Bidding Experience Desired
  • Experience with HCSS Bidding Software
Regional union heavy/highway and concrete paving contractor seeks skilled union labor to work on major airfield and highway construction projects. Contractor hiring from the following classifications/unions:

  • Laborers Union
  • Operating Engineers Union
  • Teamsters Union
  • Cement Masons Union

If qualified or qualifiable candidates are not currently in a signatory union, contractor will refer labor to local hall to gain membership where available. On the Job Training and Apprenticeships may be available on a project by project basis.
